AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Here is the weekly fishing report as compiled for the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for July 21. (Report also available at www.txfishing.com on Web.)

BASTROP: Water clear. Black bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on frozen shrimp and minnows. Yellow catfish are slow.

BELTON: Water fairly clear; 85 degrees; 2.25′ low. Black bass are good on dark spinnerbaits in coves. Hybrid striper are fair trolling perch colored Rat-L-Traps. White bass are fair trolling perch colored Rat-L-Traps. Crappie are fair on minnows under lights at night in 30 feet. Channel catfish are slow. Blue catfish are slow. Yellow catfish are slow.

BROWNWOOD: Water fairly clear; 85 degrees; 6.32′ low. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are good on Li’l Fishies and Rat-L-Traps off lighted docks at night. Crappie are excellent on Li’l Fishies over brush piles in 10-12 feet, and off lighted docks at night in 18-20 feet. Channel catfish are good on cut bait over baited holes in 8 10 feet. Yellow catfish to 25 pounds are good on trotlines baited with perch in 3-10 feet.

BUCHANAN: Water clear; 86 degrees; 8.65′ low. Black bass are good on watermelon Skip-N-Pop topwaters, weightless wacky rigged green pumpkin Whacky Sticks with chartreuse tails, and white/chartreuse spinnerbaits along lake and creek points and at Apple Head in 8-12 feet at first light. Striped bass are fair on topwaters and Rat-L-Traps, jigging white Curb’s bucktail jigs, and drifting live bait on the surface over 20-30 feet near the Lighthouse at first light. White bass are fair trolling Shad Raps and jigging Pirk Minnows and Tiny Traps over rock piles in 20-30 feet. Crappie are good on minnows and Curb’s crappie jigs over brush piles in 12 feet. Channel catfish are good on live bait and cut bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and trotlines baited with goldfish and minnows.

CANYON LAKE: Water clear; 84 degrees; 0.57′ high. Black bass are good on watermelon red Whacky Sticks on shaky head jigs, tomato red JDC grubs, and Texas rigged watermelon red finesse worms along bluff ledges in 8 16 feet early. Striped bass are fair vertically jigging white Curb’s striper jigs and 1oz. Pirk Minnows in 40 feet. White bass are slow. Smallmouth bass are good on root beer/green JDC curl tailed grubs and craws, and smoke/red tubes on ball jigheads in 10 feet on main lake points and ledges. Crappie are fair to good on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows upriver around submerged brush piles over break lines. Channel catfish are slow. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on juglines and trotlines baited with live bait.

COLEMAN: Water fairly clear; 85 degrees; 8.19′ low. Black bass are good on watermelon red and watermelon seed soft plastic worms and lizards. Hybrid striper are fair on live bait and chartreuse striper jigs. Crappie are good on minnows. Channel catfish are good on trotlines baited with live perch and liver. Yellow catfish are slow.

COLORADO RIVER: (At Colorado Bend State Park) No report available.

FAYETTE: Water fairly clear; 90 degrees. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits early and late. Channel and blue catfish are good on Black Salty baitfish and cut shad over baited holes in the trees.

GRANBURY: Water clear; 0.53′ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver spoons. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows and white tube jigs. Catfish are good on stinkbait, chicken livers, and frozen shrimp.

GRANGER: Water murky; 86 degrees; 1.80′ low. Black bass to 5 pounds are fair on Carolina rigged soft plastic worms. White bass are slow. Crappie are good on chartreuse jigs in 5-12 feet. Blue catfish are good on shad and prepared bait in shallow water, and on juglines in 10-20 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

LBJ: Water stained; 87 degrees; 0.30′ low. Black bass are fair on white Curb’s Erratic jigs and perch crankbaits in clear water in 4-12 feet early, and on green pumpkin tubes and Texas rigged Big Pigs around docks and lay downs. Striped bass are good on Creme Lure’s 2″ Spoiler Shads and Little Fishies at night. White bass are fair to good on Li’l Fishies at night. Crappie are fair to good on Curb’s crappie jigs and live minnows over brush piles in clear water. Channel catfish are very good on nightcrawlers, liver, and dipbait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on trotlines baited with goldfish and perch.

NAVARRO MILLS: Water murky; 91 degrees; 0.09′ low. Black bass to 7 pounds are good on topwaters along banks early. White bass are good but small on topwaters and diving Boogie Shad lures. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles in 15-17 feet. Channel catfish are good on minnows. Blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with perch and goldfish. Yellow catfish are slow.

PROCTOR: Water murky; 85 degrees; 2.26′ low. Black bass are good on crankbaits. White bass are good on live shad. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines and juglines baited with cut shad. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live bait.

SOMERVILLE: Water murky; 87 degrees; 0.05′ high. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on dead shad, live minnows, and nightcrawlers in the weeds in 2 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

STILLHOUSE: Water murky; 88 degrees; 0.33′ high. Black bass are good on minnows, and on watermelon red and green pumpkin soft plastics. White bass are good on slabs and minnows. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are good on doughbait, chicken livers, and chicken bloodbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

TRAVIS: Water fairly clear; 87 degrees; 6.65′ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are fair on frozen shrimp and stinkbait. Yellow catfish are slow.

WALTER E. LONG: Water stained; 88 degrees. Black bass are slow. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are fair on nightcrawlers. Yellow catfish are slow.

WHITNEY: Water murky; 0.97′ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on frozen shrimp and liver.

ATHENS: Water fairly clear, 84-88 degrees; 0.23′ high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to spinnerbaits, Texas rigs, chatterbaits and shaky head jigs with a finesse worm. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers.

BOB SANDLIN: Water off color; 83-88 degrees; 0.43′ low. Black bass are fair to good on Yellow Magics and Stanley Ribbits early, later switching to jigs, Carolina rigs and Texas rigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles and around bridge columns. White bass are fair to good on topwaters and Little Georges. Catfish are good on prepared bait.

BRIDGEPORT: Water fairly clear; 84-88 degrees; 0.41′ high. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to drop shot rigs, chatterbaits and Texas rigs. Crappie are fair to good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. White bass are good on Rooster Tails and topwaters. Hybrid striper are fair on Sassy Shad and live shad.

CADDO: Water murky; 84-89 degrees; 0.35′ high. Black bass are good on Scum Frogs, Senkos and Texas rigs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows and jigs. White bass are good on Little Georges. Catfish are fair to good on prepared bait and nightcrawlers.

CEDAR CREEK: Water stained; 84-87 degrees; 0.14′ low. Black bass are good on buzzbaits, jigs and Texas rigs. White bass are good on Little Georges and topwaters. Hybrid striper are good on swim baits. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good on prepared bait.

COOPER: Water off color; 83-88 degrees; 1.92′ low. Black bass are good on topwaters early, later switching to Texas rigs and Senkos. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows over brush piles. White bass are good on Rooster Tails and Little Georges. Hybrid striper are good on Sassy Shad and live shad. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared bait.

FAIRFIELD: Water fairly clear; 88-92 degrees. No report available.

FORK: Water fairly clear; 83-88 degrees; 0.33′ low. Black bass are fair to good on buzzbaits and Yellow Magics early and late, midday switching to drop shot rigs, spoons, jigs and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs under the bridges and over brush piles. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared baits.

GRAPEVINE: Water stained; 83-87 degrees; 0.08′ low. Black bass are fair to good on medium running shad pattern crankbaits, Texas rigs and wacky rigs. Crappie are fair to good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on Rooster Tails, topwaters and Little Georges. Catfish are good on cut bait and nightcrawlers.

JOE POOL: Water off color; 84-87 degrees; 0.17′ high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and Texas rigs fished off. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around bridge columns. White bass are fair on slabs and Road Runners. Catfish are fair on cut and prepared baits in the shallows.

LAKE O’ THE PINES: Water lightly stained; 84-87 degrees; 1.59′ high. Black bass are fair on topwaters early, midday switching to Texas rigs, 5″ weightless Yum Dingers and spinnerbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and Danny King’s Punch Bait.

LAVON: Water stained; 83-88 degrees; 1.91′ low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and topwaters early, later switching to Texas rigs and shaky head rigged finesse worms. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs around structure. Catfish are fair on cut shad and prepared baits.

LEWISVILLE: Water stained; 84-88 degrees; 1.07′ low. Black bass are slow to fair on spinnerbaits and soft plastics pitched around docks and on jigs and drop shot rigs in 15-25 feet around structure. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs in the marinas. Catfish are good on prepared bait over baited holes.

MARTIN CREEK: 1.11′ low. No report available.

MONTICELLO: Water fairly clear; 85-92 degrees; 0.28′ high. No report available.

PALESTINE: Water lightly stained; 85-88 degrees; 0.24′ high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, topwaters and soft plastics fished shallow and in 15-20 feet on jigs and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs in the marinas and over brush piles. Hybrid striper are slow. White bass are fair to good on Humdingers. Catfish are fair to good on nightcrawlers and cheese bait.

RAY HUBBARD: Water fairly clear; 84-87 degrees; 1.69′ low. Black bass are fair to good on Carolina rigs, spinnerbaits, soft plastic frogs and buzzbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on Humdingers and chrome topwaters. Hybrid striper are fair on slabs. Catfish are fair to good on cut bait.

RAY ROBERTS: Water clear; 86-88 degrees; 0.66′ low. Black bass are fair on 12″ El Salto Grande Worms and Zoom Shaky Head Worms. Crappie are good over brush piles on Bobby Garland Slab Slayers and minnows. White bass are excellent on clear Tiny Torpedoes. Catfish are good on prepared baits over baited holes.

RICHLAND CHAMBERS: Water off color; 83-88 degrees; 0.01′ low. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits, Texas rigged worms and topwaters. White bass and hybrid striper are fair to good on Rooster Tails, topwaters and live shad. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs over brush piles. Catfish are good cut shad and prepared baits.

TAWAKONI: Water fairly clear; 84-88 degrees; 0.73′ low. Black bass are fair on chatterbaits, spinnerbaits and finesse soft plastics. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on topwaters and Little Georges. Striped bass and hybrid striper are slow to fair on live shad. Catfish are good on nightcrawlers and prepared.

TEXOMA: Water off color; 84-88 degrees; 1.04′ low. Black bass are fair on buzzbaits early, later switching to drop shot rigs, spinnerbaits and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs over brush piles and around bridge columns. Striped bass are good on live shad, slabs and trolling with downriggers. Catfish are fair to good on cut and live shad.

WEATHERFORD: Water lightly stained; 85-89 degrees; 0.6′ low. Black bass are good on soft plastics around docks and on rocky points. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs in the crappie house and over brush piles. Channel catfish are good on worms, liver and dough bait in the fishing barge. White bass are good all over the lake on small shad imitation lures. Bream are good on worms.

WRIGHT PATMAN: Water off color; 84-88 degrees; 6.56′ high. Black bass are fair on spinnerbaits and soft plastics in the shallows and in 15-25 feet on jigs and Carolina rigs. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are fair to good on Little Georges and topwaters. Catfish are fair on nightcrawlers and prepared baits.

AMISTAD: Water murky; 85 degrees; 7.13′ high. Black bass are good on topwaters, crankbaits, swimbaits, jigs, and soft plastics. Striped bass are fair on crankbaits, buzzbaits, trick worms, Senkos, and spinnerbaits. White bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Catfish are fair on cheesebait, shrimp, and nightcrawlers over baited holes. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines and droplines baited with live perch around rocks. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

BRAUNIG: Water clear; 86 degrees. Black bass are fair on crankbaits and dark soft plastic worms in reeds. Striped bass are excellent on liver and shad off points, and down rigging silver and gold spoons near the jetty and dam. Redfish are excellent on perch, tilapia, shad, and silver spoons, and down rigging near the jetty and dam. Channel catfish are excellent on liver, shrimp, cut bait, and cheesebait near the dam. Blue catfish are fair on cut bait.

CALAVERAS: Water clear; 86 degrees. Black bass are good on dark soft plastic worms, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits over reed beds. Striped bass are good on spoons and striper jigs near the dam and the crappie wall in 15-20 feet, and on chicken livers and shad along the shoreline. Redfish are excellent down rigging silver and gold spoons and live bait along the crappie wall and the dam in 10-20 feet, on live perch and tilapia along the shoreline, and on live bait along the crappie wall. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are excellent on liver, cheesebait, shrimp, and shad near the railroad trestle and 181 Cove. Yellow catfish are slow.

CHOKE CANYON: Water clear; 87 degrees; 3.41′ low. Black bass are fair on small white/chartreuse spinnerbaits, shallow running crankbaits, and pumpkin Whacky Sticks with chartreuse tails along main lake points. White bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel catfish are very good on live bait. Yellow and blue catfish are very good on live bait upriver.

COLETO CREEK: Water fairly clear; 83 degrees (95 degrees at discharge); 0.16′ low. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. White bass are slow. Crappie are fair on minnows. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with liver, stinkbait, and live bait. Yellow catfish are fair on trotlines baited with live perch.

FALCON: Water murky; 89 degrees. Black bass are slow. Striped bass are slow. Crappie are slow. Channel and blue catfish are slow. Everyone in the boat must have a Mexico fishing license (if fishing the Mexico side) whether fishing or not.

CONROE: Water fairly clear; 0.22′ low. Black bass are fair on chartreuse and watermelon Carolina rigged soft plastics and spinnerbaits. Striped bass are fair on minnows. Crappie are fair on minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on stinkbait, chicken livers, and shrimp.

GIBBONS CREEK: Water clear. Black bass are fair on chartreuse soft plastic worms and watermelon/white crankbaits. Crappie are fair on minnows. Catfish are good on stinkbait, shrimp, and cut bait.

HOUSTON COUNTY: Water clear; 90 degrees; 0.26′ high. Black bass to 4 pounds are fair on crankbaits and June bug worms near the marina and the dam in 10 feet. Crappie are fair on live minnows over brush piles near the pump station and the dam in coves in 20 feet. Bream are fair on live worms off piers and over grass beds. Channel and blue catfish to 4 pounds are fair on nightcrawlers on rod and reel, and on trotlines baited with perch in 12 20 feet.

LIVINGSTON: Water fairly clear; 86 degrees; 0.25′ high. Black bass are good on spinnerbaits and crankbaits. Striped bass are slow. White bass are excellent on slabs, pet spoons, and trolling tubes. Crappie are good on minnows in 12 feet. Blue catfish are good on shad. Yellow catfish are slow.

SAM RAYBURN: Water lightly stained; 87 degrees; 3.24′ low. Black bass are good on minnows and dark soft plastic worms. White bass are fair on silver and gold spoons. Crappie are good on minnows and blue tube jigs over baited holes in 20-25 feet. Bream are fair on nightcrawlers. Catfish are very good on trotlines baited with live bait and cut bait.

STEINHAGEN: 1.57′ high. No report available.

TOLEDO BEND: Water stained; 87 degrees; 3.82′ low. Black bass are fair on redbug soft plastic worms. Striped bass are fair on minnows and silver striper jigs. White bass are good on spoons in the river. Crappie are fair on minnows at night. Bream are good on crickets and nightcrawlers. Channel and blue catfish are good on trotlines baited with live bait, stinkbait, livers, and hearts in 30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow.

GREENBELT: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 30.15′ low. Black bass are good on Rat-L-Traps, spinnerbaits and buzzbaits along grass lines, pumpkin soft plastics and live bait along timber and in grass pockets. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait, white spinnerbaits or green pumpkin jigs. Walleye are good on live bait. Catfish are good on live bait. Note: Low water conditions exists, launching boats is difficult.

MACKENZIE: Water lightly stained; 79 degrees; 78.92′ low. Black bass are fair on live bait, shad-colored crankbaits and black/chartreuse jigs. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and striped bass are fair on live bait and crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are fair on live bait. Walleye are fair on live bait. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

MEREDITH: Water lightly stained; 80 degrees; 79.00 low. Black bass are good on live bait, topwaters, shad-colored crankbaits, and black/chartreuse jigs or Texas-rigged soft plastics along grass lines and rocky points. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and shad-colored crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on live bait and chrome jerkbaits along rocky points. Walleye are good on live bait and bottom bouncers. Channel catfish are good on live bait.

PALO DURO: Water stained; 77 degrees; 13.93′ low. Black bass are fair on live bait. Crappie are slow on live bait and jigs. Smallmouth bass are slow. Walleye are slow. Channel catfish are slow. The lake level is rising due to recent storms.

ALAN HENRY: Water lightly stained; 82 degrees; 0.01′ low. The lake is currently closed due to an upstream oil spill.

ARROWHEAD: Water turbid; 80 degrees; 1.14′ low. Black bass to eight pounds are slow on crankbaits or chatterbaits in shallows off rocky areas. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs off the east side bridges and boat docks. White bass are excellent on jigs and small crankbaits off wind-swept points and along the dam on jigs and small crankbaits with some surface action. Blue catfish are good pounds on rod and reel using cheese bait or shad.

COLORADO CITY: The quality of fishing is very limited due to episodic toxic golden alga blooms.

FORT PHANTOM HILL: Water clear; 80 degrees; 2.27′ low. Black bass are good on shad-colored spinnerbaits and live bait with topwater action early and late in day. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait and crankbaits. Catfish are good on cut and live bait.

HUBBARD CREEK: Water stained; 81 degrees; 7.53′ low. Black bass are good on black/blue jigs, watermelon candy soft plastics, and live bait worked along grass lines and suspended along timber. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. White bass are good on live bait and small shad-colored crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.

NASWORTHY: Water lightly stained; 78 degrees. Black bass are fair on live bait and white spinnerbaits. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass and hybrid striped bass are fair on live bait and chrome crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.

OAK CREEK: Water lightly stained; 81 degrees; 7.85′ low. Black bass are good on shad-colored chatterbaits, buzzbaits and poppers, and live bait. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on live bait.

O.H. IVIE: Water lightly stained; 81 degrees; 22.66′ low. Black bass are good on green pumpkin or red shad soft plastics, baby bass crankbaits, white spinnerbaits, and live bait worked along grass lines and timber. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait and chrome crankbaits. Smallmouth bass are good on shad-colored soft plastic jerkbaits and live bait along tree lines. Channel catfish are good on live and cut bait.

POSSUM KINGDOM: Water stained; 81 degrees; 1′ low. Black bass are good on Senkos, shad-colored buzzbaits and spinnerbaits in mid-lake pockets. Crappie are fair on minnows and jigs. White bass are good on live bait, silver/black back crankbaits and jigging spoons during early morning hours and at night under the dock lights by the island points on the north end of the lake. Stripers are good on shad-colored crankbaits along the southern lake points. Catfish to ten pounds are good on shad and worms in Rock Creek and Cedar Creek areas.

SPENCE: Fishing reported generally poor due to golden alga blooms.

STAMFORD: Water lightly stained; 81 degrees; 0.04′ low. Black bass are good on live bait, shad-colored spinnerbaits and dark jigs worked along brush and suspended timber. Crappie are good on jigs and live bait. White bass are fair on live bait and crankbaits. Catfish are good on live bait.

SWEETWATER: Water stained; 79 degrees; 7.04′ low. Black bass are fair on live bait and junebug soft plastics along brush and rocky points. Crappie are good on minnows and jigs. Catfish are good on live and cut bait.

WHITE RIVER: Water stained; 80 degrees; 24.38′ low. Black bass are good on live bait, watermelon pepper soft plastics and green pumpkin/chartreuse jigs. Crappie are good on jigs and minnows. Walleye are fair on live bait and white/blue back jerkbaits. Channel catfish are good on cut and live bait.

NORTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good under birds and pods of shad on soft plastics. Redfish are good in the cuts and drains leading to the marsh on shrimp and Gulps.

SOUTH SABINE: Trout are fair to good while drifting the reefs on live shrimp and topwaters. Drifters have been working slicks and pods of shad on the Reef on the south end. Trout are good at the jetty on live bait and topwaters.

BOLIVAR: Trout are good on the south shoreline on Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Black drum, sand trout and redfish are good at Rollover Pass. Deep shell has produced trout on the outgoing tide. Trout are good in the surf on live bait.

TRINITY BAY: Trout are good for drifters working wells and shell pads on shrimp, croakers, Bass Assassins, Trout Killers and Sand Eels. Redfish are good on live bait around the reefs and at the spillway.

EAST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good for drifters working deep shell on limetreuse and plum plastics. Whiting and sand trout are good on the edge of the Intracoastal on fresh shrimp. Trout are good on the Ship Channel on croakers and plastics.

WEST GALVESTON BAY: Trout are good at the railroad bridge on live shrimp. Sheepshead, redfish and black drum are good at the jetty on shrimp and crabs. Offshore is good for tarpon, kingfish, red snapper and ling.

TEXAS CITY: Trout are fair to good on the reefs on live shrimp and croakers. Solid trout have come from the edge of the Ship Channel on croakers and shrimp.

FREEPORT: Trout are good at San Luis Pass on shrimp and MirrOlures. Sand trout and sheepshead are good on live shrimp on the reefs in Christmas Bay. Trout, Spanish mackerel and sand trout are good at the jetties on live bait.

EAST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair for drifters on live shrimp over humps and scattered shell. Redfish are fair to good on the edge of the Intracoastal on crabs and mullet. Trout are fair to good in the surf on live bait.

WEST MATAGORDA BAY: Trout are fair on sand and grass humps on soft plastics and topwaters. Redfish are fair on topwaters and live shrimp in Oyster Lake and Crab Lake.

PORT O’CONNOR: Trout and redfish are fair on topwaters and live bait over sand, grass and shell in San Antonio Bay. Trout are fair to good in the surf and at the jetty on croakers. Redfish are good on the shorelines and running with jack crevalle.

ROCKPORT: Trout are fair in the guts and channels on free-lined shrimp. Trout are fair over grass while drifting with live shrimp. Redfish are good on mullet on the Estes Flats and around Mud Island.

PORT ARANSAS: Trout, redfish and sheepshead are fair to good at the jetty on shrimp and croakers. Trout are fair to good in the surf on topwaters, piggies and croakers. Offshore is good for red snapper, kingfish and ling.

CORPUS CHRISTI: Trout are fair to good on the edge of the spoils on Gulps and live shrimp. Redfish are good in the potholes on shrimp. Trout are fair to good at Emmord’s Hole on croakers and piggy perch.

BAFFIN BAY: Trout are good over grass in the Land Cut. Trout are good on topwaters around rocks and grass. Trout are fair to good on the King Ranch shoreline on croakers, topwaters and plum plastics.

PORT MANSFIELD: Trout are good on topwaters around sand and grass. Redfish are fair to good while drifting pot holes and on live bait. Offshore is good for red snapper, ling and kingfish. Tarpon have been showing on the beachfront.

SOUTH PADRE: Redfish and trout are good in the shallows of South Bay and Mexiquita Flats on shrimp and plastics under rattling corks. Tarpon are showing at the pass. Snook are fair on topwaters and shrimp.

PORT ISABEL: Trout and redfish are fair to good on the flats on live shrimp. Redfish are good on small Super Spooks and SkitterWalks. Trout are good on live bait on the edge of the channel drop-offs.
